Kennedy and Sam chose Kansas City for their wedding because it’s where their relationship started, and The Guild KC gave them a setting that matched the feel they wanted – warm, moody, and personal. We built the design around deep tones, candlelight, and thoughtful layout choices that supported the space without overpowering it. Every detail pointed back to their story and the city that shaped it.
Their day stayed joyful from start to finish. The ceremony felt grounded and intimate. The reception carried that same energy with laughter, easy moments, and a room full of people who showed up for them. The Guild’s mix of brick, natural texture, and modern structure helped the design feel cohesive while keeping the focus on connection.
One of the sweetest parts of the day came from Kennedy’s mom, who made her famous cake for the couple and their guests. It added a personal touch people talked about all night. Paired with warm florals, a polished tablescape, and intentional styling choices, their wedding became a true reflection of who they are – rooted in Kansas City and designed with purpose.
