Josie and Tom’s wedding was a true celebration of love, personality, and thoughtful design. From the very beginning, every detail was intentionally curated to reflect their relationship – rom subtle color choices to bold statement moments.
The design inspiration began with a single piece: their invitation suite, which featured Almond Blossoms by Van Gogh. That beautiful shade of blue became the foundation for the entire aesthetic, showing up in everything from the bar menu to the smallest design accents. From there, we built out a romantic and elevated country club garden party vibe, using a mix of white, striped, and floral linens paired with vibrant blooms and fresh fruit on every table.
Josie and Tom each got ready at Josie’s parents’ homes, surrounded by their closest friends and family. As guests arrived, they were greeted with Aperol spritzes, a stunning golf course backdrop, and the smooth sounds of a live jazz trio – setting the tone for a stylish and joy-filled evening.
One of the most memorable moments of the night was Josie and Tom leading their guests into the reception with a live saxophonist, building the energy for a dance party that didn’t stop. In a nod to their love of EDM concerts, guests hit the dance floor wearing disco helmets. And as a special surprise, the KU Jayhawks and Marching Band made a show-stopping appearance – bringing the crowd to life and making the celebration truly unforgettable.
