LAUREN & DYLAN

Lauren & Dylan were married at The Immaculate Conception Cathedral in downtown Kansas City, followed by a reception at Hotel Kansas City’s Tudor Ballroom. Their day blended timeless architecture with bold, creative design. The ceremony honored tradition, while the reception introduced an immersive concept that transformed the space completely.

Their reception theme, β€œParty Animals,” came to life through servers in elevated animal masks, tailored black attire, and subtle animal brooches. We leaned into a moody February color palette that complemented the Tudor Ballroom’s dark wood paneling and dramatic ceilings. Long candlelit tables, warm table lamps, and an ornate blush wedding cake created a romantic, editorial atmosphere inside one of the most iconic Kansas City wedding venues.

When the couple changed outfits, we passed out masquerade masks and shifted the energy into a high-impact dance floor moment. The result was a luxury wedding in downtown KC that felt intentional, dramatic, and unforgettable – proof that a strong concept, executed well, transforms a reception into an experience.
